60g Curry Sauce Co. Jalfrezi Sauce 1 1¼” thick angus steak burger (minced rib eye steak moulded into 2½“ x 1¼” burgers) 1 sesame burger bun 3 deep fried onion rings 1 portion french fries

Garnish
|
onion ring salad garnish 1 portion mango or lime chutney

Method
|
Mince rib eye steak and form into burger by hand. Place on ribbed fry pan or griddle and cook to preference (ie rare, medium etc). Heat Jalfrezi sauce until simmering point. Toast Sesame seed bun. Fry potato chips.

Notes
|
The quality of the steak burger is most important. This is a real American burger.

Serve
|
Place beef burger in sesame seed bun. Drizzle Jalfrezi sauce over steak burger. Serve with onion ring and salad garnish. French fries on the side.

Ingredients
|
120gr Curry Sauce Co. Madras Curry Sauce 180 - 200gr rib eye steak cut into strips ¼ tomato

Garnish
|
coriander Leaf ¼ spanish onion sliced

Method
|
Heat oil in wok until very hot. Add strips of steak and sizzle for 2 minutes or until sealed. Add sauce and tomato and bring to simmer for approximately 5 minutes.

Serve
|
Turn into pre-heated cast iron korai dish and serve immediately garnished with sliced onion and chopped fresh coriander.
|

Alternatives
|
Prepare and serve as above substituting madras sauce with Jalfrezi.
